Day 10: Drive to Clearwater

We drove through densely wooded areas on Highways 16 and 5. After a short drive, we made a brief stop at the Mount Robson Viewpoint. However, the highest mountain in the Rockies had its upper half shrouded in clouds. So we continued on.

The further south we drove, the more often we passed small settlements. Most of them were just clusters of a few tiny wooden houses. It’s intriguing to imagine what life is like there – right in the middle of nowhere. Here, a boat is almost as much a part of the basic equipment as the obligatory pickup truck.
