Originally, we had planned to follow the Danube Cycle Path as far as we could in two days - ideally until Regensburg. Unfortunately, we were unable to find suitable accommodation at the right distance, as Deggendorf was too close at 50 km and Straubing was too far at almost 100 km. Therefore, we changed our plans at short notice and drove to Landau an der Isar. Initially, we followed a section of the Danube Cycle Path. We followed it until the confluence with the Isar. There we had lunch. Literally, we lay in the bed of the Isar. Fortunately, it had receded enough that we didn't get wet. Afterwards, we followed the Isar Cycle Path. Not very spectacular, especially as we couldn't see the Isar for long stretches. In the end, we covered exactly 90 km today, with temperatures well above the 30-degree mark.
