From Landshut to Munich

Actually, we had planned to take the regional express to Munich on the last day and then take our pre-booked ICE home from there. Since we were already relatively close to Landshut, we spontaneously decided to take the train only to Freising and then walk the rest along the Isar River to Munich. It was a very beautiful scenic route, although the sun had become somewhat elusive again. The path itself was a challenge. The damage from the storm two days ago was even more visible and tangible than the previous day. We had to pass several fallen trees blocking the path. At times, we were driving from tree to tree and felt like dogs, except that we were lifting our bikes instead of legs. Occasionally, we had to unload our luggage beforehand. Nevertheless, we arrived in Munich on time and cycled the last kilometers through the English Garden to the city center. We are now on the ICE train to Cologne. The usual chaos with the German Railway has already begun. Detour due to storm damage. After all, you can't simply carry an ICE train over trees...
