The countdown is on

Everything is ready and tomorrow morning it begins. I plan to start very early, hoping to escape the worst heat. But that's probably wishful thinking. Tomorrow will be a tough day.

However, the weather forecast for the next few days gives hope. Starting Monday, it could be a lovely tour weather-wise.

The bike and I are definitely ready. Everything is packed and assembled. The supplies and drinks are ready, so nothing stands in the way of the 100 km tomorrow to Alpen near Xanten.
