NL-FR-BE 2026 - Day 08 Charleroi-Liège

After I arrived happily and contently at the BnB this afternoon and took a brief summary - no rain, no breakdowns, no flats, not even a mosquito bite - I was then in Liège.

Long story short: My wife and I will meet tomorrow in Valkenburg. 😳😁 Unfortunately, Liège is not exactly inviting. 🙁🙁

So I have to ride another 41 km (and coincidentally also hit the 1,000 km mark 🤣).

Otherwise, there wasn't much to tell about today's ride. It was very relaxed again. There was only one detour, which was even reasonably well signposted. The weather was fantastic again and the landscape varied. Heart. What more could you ask for?
