The Waiag archipelago is comparable to Misool yesterday and the famous Halong Bay in Vietnam. There are individual karst peaks rising from the sea that are heavily vegetated due to the high moisture, despite the poor soil. Unlike Halong Bay, there are also coral reefs around the rocks here. The formations of the Waiag archipelago are even more spectacular than those in Misool.
Again, we went on a Zodiac tour in the morning. This time it didn't rain, and it was only partly cloudy. Compared to yesterday, we saw slightly fewer birds, but we did see turtles, which unfortunately stayed underwater. Since we only saw everything from the water, I have attached two aerial shots that give an additional impression.
