I wanted to make an update yesterday, but I was so exhausted after all that wandering around.

It was March 19, and our plan was to visit the imperial gardens.
However, since we were still under the curse of jet lag, we only got going after a coffee, a cigarette, and a Japanese tabletop grill at 2 PM.

Well, how should I best describe the imperial gardens? It was nice, I guess 😅 I have to admit, the Emperor's seat today was a bit dreary, but to each their own 😁

But I must admit, the wood and stone constructions were impressive craftsmanship. Such a gate could
serve as a great alternative barrier for the Bürgenstock 😅

The next stop was a detour to Shibuya Cross, the famous location from the 2006 film Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, all during the evening rush hour. 🙈

The ride back on the subway was an experience: First, we were at the wrong station, then we had the wrong ticket, and as a grand finale 😅😅
We were on the right platform, but the trains kept coming from the wrong direction. First on the left side, the train came from the south, we wanted to go north, then to the right side, the train came from the south?!?! Then back to the left side, and so on... until we realized Shibuya Cross is a terminal station 🤦 so we took the next train back to Akihabara.

There we had dinner and retreated to the hotel.
