As we checked out of our shabby and slightly rundown hotel today, "which I still believe is a short-stay/love hotel," we headed to our next destination, Nagoya. The town is located about two hours north of Tokyo.
So we first went to Tokyo Station, the largest hub in the city, to grab a ticket for the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) among 1000 others. After a few initial hiccups, we made it. We sat in our previously reserved seats heading south.

As the silhouette of skyscrapers transitioned to smaller suburbs and eventually to farmland, we encountered, uh.... skyscrapers again?¿? Yes.... we have arrived in Nagoya, the 4th largest city in Japan.

We were lucky to be able to go straight to our accommodation after a light lunch. This time, Tomi made the booking, and it was a real upgrade from our last place.
As the sun set behind the skyscrapers and our travel day came to an end, we rounded it off with a nice, delicious bowl of Udon noodles.

The next day: Today, the Sacred Halls were on the agenda. With a short train ride, we went to the Toyota Automobile Museum. Unfortunately, Reas and mine were not among the exhibits, but every second was worth it.

Additionally, we visited Nagoya Castle, which gave us some impressive snapshots.
