Update: Hiroshima & Nagasaki

So, my dear ones, we are back again with news.

On the last day of our stay in Osaka, we were drawn up again, to be precise, to the Kuchu Teien (The Floating Garden) - two skyscrapers connected by a gigantic platform.

After we were back on solid ground, we continued our journey to Hiroshima, another destination that I am now visiting for the second time.

Since most hotels, rental apartments, etc., allow their guests into their rooms only at 3:00 - 4:00 PM, we were able to use this time well to hit the hotspots of the city.

Our journey took us, as before in Osaka, over bridges through markets and sake bars ... many ... many sake bars.

Arriving at the memorial site where the bomb fell, we visited the associated museum.

We spent the evening after a long search for a suitable restaurant. Well, we ended up at a Chinese place, whose face looked like pure bliss when he saw us. The hastily exchanged words with his wife... I could not understand, but through his body language, I interpreted it this way: 'Screw these tourists, I have absolutely no interest in them, and now they want to eat... mmmhh if I must.'

The food also tasted like this...

Moral of the story: Don't eat Chinese in Japan, or else you might spend the night on the porcelain throne.

That's why we spent, or particularly I, the next day more calmly. After two days in Hiroshima, we continued to Nagasaki, the port city located almost at the southernmost end of the island.

The city that was built directly in the basin, I remembered differently back then, but yes, this can be misleading.

There we also visited the bomb museum, but since we have seen this chapter as well, we are now on our way to a new adventure.

On the last evening we dined like kings. Maybe, but only maybe, I slightly underestimated the portions of South Korean cuisine.

Now we are on our way to Kagoshima where we must reach our ferry to Okinawa. Updates will follow ✌🏻✌🏻
