Update: Hiroshima & Nagasaki
So, my dear ones, we are back again with news. On the last day of our stay in Osaka, we were drawn up again, to be precise, to the Kuchu Teien (The Floating Garden) - two skyscr

As our time in Nagasaki was coming to an end, we packed our bags and set out towards Kagoshima.

The port city, located deep in the south, welcomed us with beautiful weather: light drizzling rain accompanied by lovely cold gusts of wind, making us feel right at home.

Nevertheless, we made our way from the train station to our hotel. It was tucked away on the 6th floor of a block, whose neighbors were contact bars and fast food stalls. Our room was spacious and had the charm of visiting your grandmother.

The theme of our room was probably 'Resting rabbits sat in the grass' 😅, combined with crocheted doilies and grandma's vases. The only thing missing was the obligatory cookie tin with a sewing box inside.
But it was dry, and we had the long-awaited washing machine 🎉 Drying the laundry proved to be a bit of a challenge. But thanks to Tomi's craftsmanship, it worked out in the end.

In conclusion, we signed their guestbook and headed to the harbor.

New Port was our destination, where the Queen Coral was already waiting for us.

A ferry from Marixline, we thought flying was too mainstream, hence we preferred a 25-hour crossing to Okinawa 😁

For most of the fellow travelers who had to spend the crossing in 60- and 80-bed dormitories, we enjoyed real luxurious comfort in our 4-person room that we shared as a couple.

Since we did not trust the galley at sea, we took care of our own meals this time, which worked wonderfully.

The next day, late in the evening, we finally arrived in the city of Naha, the main hub of Okinawa 😁

Our experiences on the island will follow.
Rico Out ✌🏻
