Mâcon is known for its white wine, so we headed towards Solutré, west of Mâcon.
We had chosen the Domaine de la Croix Senaillet in Davayé. It’s just about a 45-minute ride without detours. Outside the city, we approach our destination on beautifully developed bike paths.
We sampled various wines and also selected some items for the onboard pharmacy. With our bags packed, we set off on the way home.
Just a quick stroll through the old town and then back to the harbor.
Finally, we made small talk with our neighbors in the harbor across, a Swedish couple from the Helsingborg area. They have their boat in Saint-Jean-de-Losne in the harbor and enjoy spending longer periods each year on the Saône.
