Day 7

Day 7 – Between Deep Relaxation and Escalation in White

I actually should start this daily report with the evening, because it truly surpassed everything else. But let's take it step by step.

Today it got warmer again. So warm that even the shade probably wanted a fan. Therefore, the plan quickly formed: right after breakfast, straight to the beach. Of course in style with the shuttle – one wants to conserve energy wisely after all.

Once at the beach, the hard vacation day began: reading a book, swimming in the sea, relaxing, and simply doing nothing. It sounds simple, but it’s true professional vacation art.

We stayed there until the afternoon, simply enjoying the sun, sea, and peace. Then the program abruptly changed from wellness to football. The hotel was showing 3rd league and Bundesliga – and suddenly you could feel again how many fans from various clubs were around. Everyone comments, everyone knows better, and by the second drink, everyone automatically becomes the national team coach.

But now, let’s get to the real highlight of the day.

In the evening, the big White Party was on – and the hotel truly delivered. Everything was decorated in white, with light effects everywhere, huge video screens, DJ, music, and an atmosphere like a music video from the 2000s. The only thing missing was someone with a fog machine on roller skates.

However, there was dinner first. And not just any dinner. Today was completely absurd.

The food had already been really good all week – but today they totally escalated: salmon in all variations, lobster, shrimp in every size, and probably everything the sea has willingly or unwillingly provided. A buffet where you eventually just stand speechless in front of the dishes, wondering if you can even carry enough plates.

For the White Party, everyone was explicitly asked to appear in white. And well… what else can you do? Right. Shop.

So we were almost forced to buy new things. You want to be polite and adhere to the guidelines.

The party is about to start, and we are ready to make it a blast. If there’s no daily report tomorrow, everyone will know why.
