Day 10 – From Irish Pub Legend Status to Stars by the Sea

The day after the big karaoke and Irish pub escalation started surprisingly calm. Probably also because it felt like the entire hotel was still talking about the night. It almost felt as if we accidentally founded a new hotel tradition.

Accordingly, we started the day a bit slower: a later breakfast, lounging by the pool, and trying to return fully to reality.

Today was also a Turkish holiday, and the hotel certainly did not hold back. There was a special program and a large lunch buffet featuring Turkish specialties. If we had any lingering hunger until then – definitely not after!

Slowly, we gathered our strength again. And this was urgently needed, as the evening promised to be exciting: “Stars by the Sea” was on the agenda.

At Beach Makara, DJ Franky played, and there was a star lineup that was quite impressive: Manni Ludolf from the Ludolfs, Norman Langen, and Menderes Bağcı.

With our now well-rehearsed group of eight, we set off – and it turned out to be a truly wonderful evening.

Especially Norman Langen sang really well and created a fantastic atmosphere. Manni Ludolf was mainly responsible for photos and was patient with every selfie request. And Menderes Bağcı... well... he was definitely also on stage.

For a truly modest price, this was absolutely top-notch and the atmosphere was excellent once again.

The highlight of the evening: I received an autograph from Norman Langen for my beloved one. The joy of it was immense – that made the evening absolutely perfect.

To wrap things up, we stylishly took the Dolmuş back to the hotel. After one last drink at the bar, we were actually back in our room before midnight.

Before 24 o'clock. No one would have expected that after the past few days.

Tomorrow, unfortunately, it's already time to head back home. But of course, there will also be a final report about that.

Above all, we still need to find out how much our suitcases weigh now... that will surely be the real challenge of the return trip.
