The Day After – From All-Inclusive Back to Reality... Almost Anyway
Last night we returned home around 11 PM. And what can I say: Even one’s own home definitely has its advantages.
Especially the bed. Much bigger. Much quieter. And no one reserves the sun loungers at 7 AM in front of it.
This morning, however, the harsh reality returned immediately: Breakfast.
Suddenly, nothing was ready for us. No buffet. No 14 types of bread rolls. No cook making omelets. You actually have to gather everything yourself again.
It's crazy how quickly you can get used to All-Inclusive luxury.
But of course, there are highlights at home too: Your own couch, for example. And finally watching series again without having to think about when karaoke, the evening show, or the white party starts. Quite relaxing.
Then out of the blue, a really great idea came up: We were indeed lucky enough to get two tickets for the handball game of SC Magdeburg against SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
So we quickly set off on our bikes, grabbing a kebab for a pre-game snack and then headed to the hall.
And then it really happened: SC Magdeburg becomes German champion again. And we were there live.
What. A. Conclusion.
To take another emotional highlight after all the holiday experiences was just perfect.
Now we’re sitting comfortably on the balcony, reflecting on the last few days and simply enjoying this beautiful time and the many memories.
This officially concludes our little holiday report.
Thank you for reading along, laughing with us, and for the nice reactions along the way.
We’ll say goodbye for now… …but don’t worry: We’ll definitely come back during our next vacation.
Goodbye 👋
