Zuletzt in Spanien

We set off for Peñíscola this morning, after a peaceful night, late in the morning. It was less than 80 kilometers, really. But about halfway through the journey, my stom

Better pasta than pig's snout

Today was a rest day. Getting up slowly. Having breakfast slowly. And then quickly back to bed. I excel at this because: practice makes perfect.

Before our departure from Linares de Mora, I took a walk up to the cemetery this morning, at the foot of which we had spent two extremely quiet nights. The many veil-like

A night with clattering teeth

Let me clarify: We did not stay in Puertomingalvo. I had just sent off the blog post from yesterday when my partner remembered that she would like to move on because 1. t

Wedding celebration on the wedding day

Puertomingalvo takes us to the peak of our tour – in more ways than one. We will spend the night today at over 1,500 meters above sea level. We have never been higher in

Farewell with a loud Servus!

It wasn't easy to leave Mirambel this morning. The 100-inhabitant village had truly enchanted us. So, we spontaneously decided to stroll through its alleys once more and grab a...

An accident, a fall – and yet happy

Today was not my day. It actually started out quite well. We restocked our supplies in Morella, exchanged a gas bottle, and reached Mirambel without any major issues. How

Today was a highlight of our tour for Icke and me. While Icke shopped undisturbed for three hours, I conquered the Castillo de Morella, one of the most impressive buildin

A city where history lives

Through a sea of clouds

Today it rained from morning until evening. We had prepared for that. So we first thoroughly slept in, and those who know us know what that means: We got up when others w

A victory over Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

We are sitting on the terrace of a café on the beach in Castelldefels, enjoying the sun. A warm breeze is blowing from the sea over the promenade, which is almost as wide as a...

Barely in Spain – and already robbed!

I really have to speak up now. I had originally planned to wait until we were all together to start – Icke won't arrive in Barcelona until tomorrow by plane – but this
