Better pasta than pig's snout
Today was a rest day. Getting up slowly. Having breakfast slowly. And then quickly back to bed. I excel at this because: practice makes perfect.

We set off for Peñíscola this morning, after a peaceful night, late in the morning. It was less than 80 kilometers, really. But about halfway through the journey, my stomach announced itself again. Loud and clear.
And since we were driving through Albocàsser and one bar after another lined both sides of the main road – each one more tempting than the last – we couldn't resist taking a short break. It was worth it! Icke's octopus in spicy sauce and my apple pie, fresh from the oven, were a delight.
15 kilometers later, our GPS chirped and said we should turn left. It seemed strange to me, as it led us directly into the town of Les Coves de Vinromà. But as my father always said: “My son, never contradict your GPS or your wife.” I remember this so clearly because the order seemed a bit odd to me. But I have dutifully followed his advice to this day.
And indeed: A sign revealed that we could empty our motorhome and fill it with fresh water nearby. Since we hadn't seen any campgrounds for two days, this was not a bad idea from our GPS.
And because this campground is on the edge of the city and right next to a beautiful hiking area, we decided to stay here. We are parked together with a French couple, an English couple, and a Swiss couple, with whom we enjoyed some good conversations.
After Icke's detour with the dogs into nature – I unfortunately had to watch ice hockey – we explored the town and passed by a jovial group of older folks towards the end. They were seated together on a playground in the evening sun and were pleased to see us. Icke asked if she could take a photo, but the lady and the gentlemen couldn't agree. Only when Icke explained that the photo was for madre and padre, did everyone nod with a knowing smile.
We moved on. And when we glanced back after 20 meters, they were still there, waving at us.
