Day of Rest in Hella

So, after a long silence, there should be a few lines again today; previously, the experiences and the time off were the main focus.

Yesterday, we left a dreamy campground right by the waterfall, with sheep and a wonderfully soft meadow, heading towards Hella to spend the next few days at a camping site that, while not particularly charming, is practical.

It feels a bit strange to find oneself among the hustle and bustle of travelers after several weeks of enjoying wonderful togetherness.

The infrastructure here is more urban and offers an American character as you stroll through the streets; flat, rather simple houses, and large off-road vehicles, typically high-legged and sometimes equipped with just a simple wooden bench.

Today, we will explore the area around Sellfoss, do a bit of cooking, take care of laundry, give some attention to Sputnik in the form of maintenance, and of course, clean and sort our equipment, and write a few lines, reflecting on some things while making use of the good WiFi to upload over 1000 media files to the cloud – the days are long enough after all ;-)
