What impressed me the most was London's architecture.
The new stands in contrast to the old, seemingly chaotic yet balanced.
More than half of the approximately 9 million inhabitants are under 40 years old, with 160 nations living together. Wealth alongside great poverty, affluent conservative next to unconventional, it really requires tolerance.
Even in the nighttime fog, dark alleys and shady figures offer a spooky attraction.
For Harry Potter fans, besides the Palace Theatre, Cambridge Circus, and many filming locations in London, is a must-see.
My conclusion: The cultural diversity,
exciting but also expensive. Historic attractions next to towering modern giants, old bridges from the 1739 Westminster Bridge to the Millennium Bridge.
All of this is London and so much more; a long weekend is simply not enough.
