Where to????

Highly motivated, the Dudelsäcke travel group set off this morning around 10 am. It was a cozy 3-hour hike along the waters of Loch Ness, which our Fieselschweif commander Philipp had chosen perfectly for his group.

We joyfully started walking... and we walked and walked and walked and walked and KEPT WALKING!!!! 16 km, 6 hours, and 83 flights of stairs up! Without beer and cake! We were also dressed too warmly, so everyone gradually shed a layer of clothing… did I mention: no beer and no cake (I was the only one who wanted cake, but whatever!)!!!

Our Fieselschweif commander preferred searching the ground for a four-leaf clover rather than paying attention to the correct hiking route… he always said: we’re taking the blue route, we'll soon see a stone bridge, along this way, and he said all this with certainty! The route colors changed from blue to red to green, we never saw the stone bridge, and we had to walk back a few paths.

BUT: despite the unexpected challenges, it was really a beautiful hike along the water, through brightly green and natural forests, past small and large streams, through heaths and moors, on hiking paths and right through fern fields. We all returned home extremely happy, satisfied, and completely exhausted, where we finally had beer and cake. Thank you, Commander Philipp, for this adventurous and scenic hike! 🍀

As an additional reward, the hot tub and sauna were later turned on.

No one should have trouble sleeping tonight... let’s see how waking up in the morning goes 🙈
