An unforgettable week in the eye of the Eiger

The imposing Eiger, especially the 1800m high Eiger North Face with its dramatic climbing history, accompanied us on all the tours we started from Grindelwald.

Absolutely noteworthy and now very colorful is the Top of Europe. With a state-of-the-art cable car and a cogwheel train that runs through the Eiger, with a stop to admire the Eiger North Face, this roof of Europe is accessible to everyone for a price of 255,-€.

Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau offer a spectacular world of snow, mountain massifs, and the Aletsch Glacier.

A visit to the Mönchsjoch Hut sets boundaries and is not suitable for everyone.

Another Swiss achievement (who invented it…)

can be found at the Top of Adventure, the First with its Cliff Walk with the highest hanging bridge in Europe at 2168m.

Here too, the Eiger North Face is present.

Nowadays, traditional mountaineering and the associated appreciation of the mountain through hard work are partially being replaced by commercialization for fun and adventure.

Last but not least🐮the cows with their own cowbells are part of the image of the Swiss alpine meadows.
