Sunday started exactly as a Sunday should: sleeping in, coffee, and a short focus time at the laptop.
With the wonderful weather and the full autumn splendor outside, I treated myself to a round of jogging afterward. Really with colorful leaves and fresh air, it clears the mind like nothing else. Back home, I then ventured to make the scones. They turned out a bit too small and a bit too hard. Definitely with room for improvement.
The occasion was nothing less than a private afternoon tea session with my sister and brother-in-law, who were visiting us. And fortunately, a nicely set table can save even a few botched scones. We had Luxemburgerli, the Swiss version of macarons, along with some fine sandwiches, coffee, and TWG tea.
