From time to time I miss Bern, especially everything that is part of it for me: my friends. So I packed my bag and set off.
The first stop was at a friend's place, including apple pie and coffee. After that, we went together to an auction at Dobiaschofsky. There was a colorful mix of art and everything the dealer scene has to offer. Even wine from the year 1990 was present, my birth year. Aged to perfection... hehe.
Afterwards, my friend had planned a visit to the Café Postgasse. And that was truly a wonderful find. The Café Postgasse is a real institution in Bern's old town and has been welcoming its guests there for many decades. In a rustic, cozy atmosphere with candlelight, there is honest comfort food, from the widely known Moules et Frites far beyond Bern to Swiss classics like Cordon Bleu and Sri Lankan curries.
With tea and still plenty of conversation left to share, we eventually made our way to her cozy apartment to peacefully wrap up the evening there.
