Walensee birthday

Today we celebrated: Joe had a birthday. Accordingly, we started the day by sleeping in. At some point, we drove towards Glatt Zentrum because I had gifted him a watch that we wanted to adjust directly on his wrist there. That was the plan....

WELL... Then came the traffic jam. And with it came plan change number one. Instead of letting the traffic ruin our mood, we quickly took a detour and drove straight to our Happy Place: the sauna at Walensee. Hidden in Murg is our absolute insider tip, a small private sauna at the Loft Hotel, where you can jump straight into the icy lake after sweating. Hot, cold, panorama, repeat.

For dinner, we actually planned to go to Sagibeiz right next door. Upon arrival, it turned out: huge wedding, full house, no chance. Plan change. Being spontaneous is part of our lifestyle.

In the end, this led to perhaps the best finale ever. On the way home, we picked up a döner platter each at Ayverdis and made ourselves really cozy at home.
