Day 15 - Phu Quoc: A Day for Relaxation

Dear travel community,

today you have to be strong, because this entry is as exciting as a cup of chamomile tea. Ursula, my glitter unicorn, and I first had a good sleep. Yes, even majestic beings like us need their beauty sleep to continue shining like a diamond in the sunlight.

After waking up, things became a bit more productive: We grabbed a taxi and went to the famous “Sao Beach.” You know, the beach that is so hyped on the internet that one could almost believe there are mermaids taking selfies and rainbows falling from the sky.

And what can I say? The beach was indeed beautiful. White sand, crystal clear water – and yes, the “Instagram photo points” were there as well. Of course, Ursula didn’t miss the opportunity to showcase her glittering splendor in front of a few coconut palm trees and the obligatory photo points. I thought she deserved her own Instagram page, but she just said: 'Glitter is my life, not likes.'

The rest of the day? Just lounging on the beach, cooling off in the sea, and getting back on the sunbed. It was a perfect mix of doing nothing and soaking up the sun. In short: We have perfected the art of lounging.

Back at the hotel, we had an extensive shower first – Ursula always insists that her mane looks perfect – and then a relaxed dinner at the beach restaurant. No frills, just good food and some music.

That was our day. No adventures, no action – just vacation. But don’t worry, the next days promise more excitement. So stay tuned, because the schedule is already set. What is it? Well, you’ll have to come back to find out!
