Dream Cove & Mosquito Invasion🦟🦟🦟

Once the initial shock of our new accommodation wore off, we borrowed two bicycles and explored the surrounding area a bit.🚲 During our ride, we discovered a small cove with crystal blue water, and we went for a swim right there.🏊🏻‍♀️ On the way back, the steep path to our accommodation pushed us to our limits. Even Yannick struggled with it, but bravely took both bicycles.💪🏻 And since the intense incline wasn't enough for us, we had the idea to hike to a sunset spot to watch the sunset. We spoke it into existence. Along the way, we found a nice lookout platform, but afterward, the trail became increasingly wild and rocky. And when we were besieged by a swarm of mosquitoes (despite using mosquito spray), we quickly gave up and turned back. Nevertheless, we caught a glimpse of the sunset at one point, which even showed a little piece of rainbow.🌈 Dinner consisted of a small buffet (rice, meat, fish, vegetables, salad), which was surprisingly delicious. Afterward, we learned that it's not a good idea to turn on the light in our room when it's dark outside.😱 All sorts of critters (including mosquitoes, unfortunately) find their way inside (which isn't hard with all the holes in the wood).🫣 At least we have a mosquito net over the bed and hope to get some sleep despite the 'wild accommodation' and the announcement that the rooster would crow very early in the morning.😴💤
