Today was all about Japanese food.
But before we got started, we had some culture. We visited the historic Nijo Castle, which served as the residence of the Shoguns. It was also here that power was handed over to the Emperor in 1867.
After strolling through the castle and its park, we moved on to a cooking class.
Under the guidance of a Japanese sushi master, we had the chance to make our own Maki and Nigiri sushi.

After walking several kilometers today, we finished with a relaxing visit to the Onsen.
