...what can I say, we arrived in Tokyo this afternoon..and the city has presented itself in such a way that we are curious to see how the next days will unfold...

Hello dear ones,
Tokyo on the second day and today’s agenda for us included.
- Meiji Shrine
- Through Harajuku..the shopping street
- Shibuya...All go intersection
- Hachikō Memorial
- Tokyo Tower
- Teamlab
Quite a hefty package that one must first navigate through the traffic...but..we made it...quite relaxed.
Started with the train to Meiji Shrine. Dedicated to Emperor Meiji in 1920...and located in Shibuya Park...a wonderfully tranquil place in such a lively city.
From there we looked at the statue of the famous dog Hachiko...by the way, it was filmed with Richard Gere.
From there to the famous Shibuya crossing....well, for us it wasn't too crowded at noon. But it was quite fun to be able to mess around at the crossing.
Next, we went to the Tokyo Tower...(even though we're still going to the Skytree)
And it is remarkable how small this is compared to the huge skyscrapers in Tokyo.
Lastly, the highlight of the day..a visit to Teamlab..a visual digital installation of superlatives...but just check out the pictures...Today we are ending a bit earlier...as we are quite worn out. In this sense.
Good night Germany...see you tomorrow.
