Traveling in Namibia
We'll be on the road again soon! The camper stays at home; we can only reach Namibia by plane. There, a lot of unknown awaits us. We will report back... .

The two hours in line at the airport could have been avoided, but otherwise we had a very successful start: Our driver Duppie (what a luxury!) took us from the airport to the first destination of our trip in Omaruru. There, we were greeted like friends by Hannelore and Udo, our German acquaintances. Our first, still unorganized impressions: a wonderful light that invites for photography, Oryx antelopes, and huge termite mounds up close, recurring German names in the street scene, which is confusing and seems completely out of place at first glance, comfortable temperatures, and a first approach to a difficult topic: How do white and black people live together in Namibia?
In the coming days, our hosts will introduce us to life in Omaruru. We are excited.
