At 6 a.m. the world is back in order. Lisa: "When are we finally going to get up?"
Breakfast with prosciutto con melone e un caffè and the general waking up phase of everyone involved as well as decision-making about the daily schedule lasts until almost 11.
Then we drive to the very, very beautiful old town of Grado to buy the necessary souvenirs and have a fantastic lunch in the shady garden of " Agli Artisti ".
Squid salad, prawns, anchovies, spaghetti with garlic, oil and peppers. The branzino alla griglia con verdure is fabulous and to complete it there is panna cotta with caramel and coffee.
In between, Lisa introduces herself to all the Italians in the bar and plays the role of solo entertainer, once again.
The bill is high, but the quality was also outstanding - benissimo.
Lisa complains of a stomach ache and injures herself while walking around in front of the restaurant, so we quickly drive past the fishing harbor to the apartment.
After a (very short) rest in the cool bedroom, everything is OK again. Lisa and Ella are running around the rooms again.
It is now 4 p.m. and we do as the real Italians do and go to the beach.
We storm the sea and watch crabs in the shallow water again - it's low tide. Far out in the sea - it's no more than knee-deep - we throw ourselves into the wild, giant waves. Lisa is absolutely thrilled. And we didn't even need the water wings.
However, behind the pine forest, storms are building up. So we head home and also to a playground and then home when the rain starts.
After the usual shower procedure, the sun shines again and the evening ritual begins again: fry vegetables, grate parmesan, drink wine, warm up pasta from the day before, season and mix everything together and off to the table.
The children are allowed to stay up a little later and then fall asleep straight away. We enjoy the pleasant evening on the terrace until almost 1 a.m.
