After taking the night bus to Phnom Penh and all three of us being able to sleep surprisingly well, we continued with a regular coach to Vietnam after waiting for an hour. Compared to the border crossing to Cambodia, we didn't have to change buses, and an employee of the bus company took care of all the paperwork for us. It was almost a bit boring because the whole excitement was missing. Once we arrived in Ho Chi Minh City after a total of 17 hours on the road, we walked to our very cozy hostel. We put our backpacks aside and went out into the city. The plan for tonight was to get money and SIM cards for our phones, but we simply couldn't find a reliable dealer for the SIM cards. After we returned to the hostel, we had a beer on the rooftop terrace and enjoyed the slightly cooler temperatures.
