In 3 weeks ...
if all goes well, we will be heading to Sweden again.

Left very early this morning (4:30 AM) to arrive in Kiel on time for our boat to Gothenburg, which departed at 6:45 PM. This time we planned some extra hours as a buffer because the last time we arrived just 10 minutes before check-in due to an accident and heavy traffic in Germany. Anne definitely didn't want to experience that again, so it was an early rise, but after Standard's 2-1 victory against Genk, the adrenaline was still pumping. After two loading sessions and half an hour of traffic, we drove into Kiel at 11:30 AM, leaving us plenty of time to explore the city a bit. After a visit to the local Konditorei where we enjoyed a delicious piece of cake, we strolled around for another hour, and by 4 PM, we boarded the boat. There, we took a nap before departing promptly for Sweden. In the evening, we participated in the music quiz and crawled into our beds around midnight. This time, we had a cabin with a window, which certainly felt different than the cabins we usually have. The sea was very calm, so we barely felt any rolling. Tomorrow, we start our 4th road trip through Sweden, combined with a bit of Norway.
