Before the travel preparations take up all my time, I am already tuning into my upcoming trip to Asia on my travel blog. In doing so, I want to remind all readers of some important destinations from past trips that hold special meaning and interesting connections to my journey this year.
In China, we are planning a trip to Qinhuangdao. The city honors the first emperor of China, Qin Shihuangdi, with its name, as he supposedly sought immortality at sea at this very spot during one of his extensive travels around 2,240 years ago. Our visit to this city connects to our visit to the Terracotta Army in Xi'an last year, which is situated in front of Qin Shihuangdi's tomb:
