.... the direct distance is about 3,000 km. With two flights and two taxi rides, as well as the waiting times at both airports, we ultimately took from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM 'from door to door'.
Changi Airport in Singapore once again impressed as a transfer station. To pass the time, Karsten treated himself to a great back massage.
At Penang Airport, things went pretty quickly. The taxi driver from there to our hotel in George Town was very chatty, so the short ride passed by in a flash.
Hotel and hotel room provide everything necessary; our room also has a large balcony overlooking the green courtyard with a pool .... which resembles more of a small park.
