Weather in Buenos Aires: 28 degrees and blue skies
We drove through the city center and then through the exclusive district of Recoleta with its many cafés and restaurants. On the way to the Avenue 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world. Next, we continued to the Obelisco. The excursion goes to 'La Boca', a colorful port district. We have never seen so many unique houses and street vendors on our journey. The classic Argentine lunch in La Boca was sensational, but too much meat for me. The shopping street Calle Florida in Puerto Madero is an unforgettable experience for any woman. I should also mention that we 'only' bought paper tissues and a mouthwash. We were 'noodled' when we returned to the ship after 8 hours. The tango evening took place without us, not a big deal. Our next travel destination is Puerto Madryn on Wednesday.
