Castlepoint and Cape Palliser

After the Christmas holidays, I initially continued alone for 3 days. On the east coast, I checked out Castlepoint and tried surfing, but the waves were too high. In Masterton, I went on a little shopping tour before heading the next day to the southernmost point of the North Island, “Cape Palliser.” Upon arrival, I had the chance to observe seals for the first time, which was the highlight of this trip. After that, I headed towards Wellington.
