Lonely Northeast
Yesterday traveled from Bakkafjörður further over Vopnafjörður to Þorshöfn. The Westfjords are already very sparsely populated, but in the northeast we saw even larger uninhabited...

As noted yesterday, it is very quiet here, and today there was hardly anything at all. It feels like this is the most deserted area, comparable to the highlands inland. During further fishing attempts (if there were any fish at all, they didn't play along), Elfriede was delighted to find mushrooms. They were quite easy to find in large numbers. Later, we then headed to the campsite in Kopasker.
