Toronto Skyline

Today we explored a few more corners of Toronto. First, we took the ferry to the Toronto Islands to enjoy the city skyline. The islands are more of a recreational area for the residents of Toronto, featuring large parks and beaches – otherwise, not particularly exciting. However, the view of the city was definitely worth the 15-minute ride.

Historical and Culinary Toronto

Back on the mainland, we had lunch, and then continued to the historic Distillery District. From there, we moved on to St. Lawrence Market for a dessert, then briefly returned to the hotel to recharge.

Shopping and City Life

In the late afternoon, we briefly visited the Eaton Centre (shopping), marveled at Dundas Square – essentially Toronto's Times Square – and then wrapped up the day at Nathan Phillips Square.
