Today we have chosen Jūrmala as our destination. A kilometer-long sandy beach with super fine sand. With very summery temperatures just under 30 degrees, we were looking for some cooling off. And the Baltic Sea is just great for that. You get cooled down quite quickly (19 degrees).
However, before you are really in the water, you have to walk several hundred meters. The seabed slopes down very gently. For minutes, it’s not really swimming but rather wading.
A stop at the airport, a stop at the outlet, and then a stroll through Riga in the evening. So today was very relaxing and tomorrow the adventure continues.
