From Siegsdorf to Berchtesgaden - and to the Königsee

After deciding a few days ago to complete the Bodensee-Königssee cycle path (originally we had planned to turn towards Salzburg earlier, as we had already been at the Königsee two years ago), our actual destination today was Berchtesgaden. We started for the first time in perfect weather and as predicted, it got warmer throughout the day after the morning freshness. At noon, we were able to reduce our clothing to the minimum possible. The first 40 km were moderately up and down with surprisingly many flat sections. Behind Bad Reichenhall, however, we ascended for a total of 6 km, at two points we had to walk again. Overall, this section was much more moderate than we had feared. Since we were already in Berchtesgaden relatively early, we decided to visit the Königsee today. We were able to deposit our luggage at the hotel beforehand. At the Königsee, we ate white sausages in the same beer garden as two years ago (a little tradition must be maintained). By the way, we have encountered the couple that we had taken shelter with during the thunderstorm several times on our journey and actually met them again today at the Königsee.
