And once again through the beautiful Val D'Orcia after a wonderful sunrise. On my way to Montepulciano, I find the incredible 370-year-old oak tree - a somewhat magical place. What has this tree seen in the centuries it has been standing here.
Then drove through the landscape by bus to Montechiello and on to Montepulciano. It's really busy here, the city is full of people and very lively, I like it very much. Quite big, beautiful squares and lanes and of course, many churches. But I've seen enough of them now.
Today, the day ends in my little bird's nest with a glass of red wine that I bought at Marcellina. I'm a bit tired - there's been plenty of experiences in the last few days.
Insight of the day: don't overdo it 🙈☺️
