Tag 98 - Olney / Countryside in London

Hello everyone 

Today we woke up after a really peaceful night in our sweet farmhouse.

We sat outside for a while, had a leisurely breakfast, and set off to visit the village. After about 2 kilometers, we reached it, looked at a few shops, had a drink in a cafe, and bought groceries for tonight. 

After walking the two kilometers back, we sat on the patio again and opened the bottle of wine in the beautiful weather. 

Later, we walked along a path that led to a very peculiar cemetery. The meadow was completely overgrown, and there were many freshly planted trees. It took us a moment to realize where we were based on the memorial plaques. But actually, it's a very nice way to have a gravesite... Planting a tree and being able to see how it has grown or bloomed every time you visit. So this place seemed much friendlier and less burdening than usual...

We continued to walk along another path and found a pretty little lake and ended up in a dead end surrounded by bushes :).

A good moment to turn around.

In the evening, we had delicious burgers with a few side dishes, and soon we were really tired.

It was a really great and peaceful day with amazing weather luck, and the few days on the farm were really good for the three of us.

Tomorrow, Mom already has to go to the airport..... But soon we will also briefly visit Switzerland and look forward to seeing everyone again.
