Tag 395 - Key West

Hellooooo dear ones!

After our experiences with the campsites here in the Keys yesterday, we had another discussion in the evening. In Key West, there is a campsite for USD 375 per night, and probably there wouldn’t even be a spot available…

In the end, we decided to book a hotel room in Key West for two nights as a conclusion.

So we spent half the morning looking for accommodation for the next two nights. We found a lovely apartment right on the beach and set off immediately.

About an hour later, we stopped at a nice spot and took an extended breakfast break there. We definitely had no reason to rush, as we could only check in at 4 PM.

We continued driving and reached our accommodation at 2:15 PM.

Since we still had some time left, we took the scooters, explored the surroundings, and enjoyed something delicious in a restaurant.

Shortly after 4 PM, we were at the reception to check in.

Initially, we were given the wrong room (without the spiral staircase to a second terrace on the roof), but after a brief complaint, the issue was resolved, and we received the correct one.

First, we enjoyed our wonderful terrace, then we explored the beach before returning to our terrace.

Here we let the rest of the evening wind down.
