Days 389 - 392 - Orlando & Daytona International Speedway

Haaaallooooo everyone!

Our days in Orlando with the Slingshot and the fantastic accommodation are now over, and we really enjoyed them.

We had none of our usual complications, everything went according to plan, and we got to experience so many amazing things!

On the way to Orlando, it rained a couple of times, and since the Slingshot has no roof, it forced us to take a break. Luckily, it was always just short showers, and we could laugh about it. This made the drive feel like a special experience ☺️

In Orlando, we rented a guesthouse right by a lake. Wow guys… Our guesthouse was really cool - not to mention the main house!

The main house of our hosts was HUGE! Just the front door…. Wide, tall! The ceiling height in the house was a good 3 meters, there was a pool outside and a dock including seating by the lake. There were cars around, a jet ski, boats, paddles, and all kinds of fun stuff.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and told us that we could use everything we wanted.

Just seeing such a cabin was an experience in itself!

In the evenings, practically the whole neighborhood met on the lake with boats, stand-up paddleboards, or jet skis. Some gathered there to chat, while others took their evening rounds along the shore and waved friendly to everyone. The atmosphere there was so harmonious!

On New Year's, we made ourselves very cozy this year, and the accommodation was perfect for that! Starting at 8 PM, there was a lot of fireworks, and we had a wonderful view over the entire lake.

On the first day, we visited a theme park from Universal Studios.

Unfortunately, due to the pregnancy, we couldn't ride any roller coasters, but just walking through the park was very impressive!

There were different themed areas based on movies, such as The Simpsons and Harry Potter.

Everything was beautifully recreated, and you could find souvenirs in all sorts of variations.
