Tag 115 - Markt, Strand und verlorener Ring.....

Hi everyone

Today was not a lucky day for us....

The day started really well! We all had breakfast together on our terrace, enjoyed the warm air, and slowly got ready for the market. It was only about a 15-minute drive from where we were staying and we wanted to browse around. When we arrived, we were lucky to find a parking spot right near the market. However, we only bought some fresh tomatoes, potatoes, and lemons and had a drink at a nearby café.

Afterwards, we drove back and packed everything for an afternoon at the beach. The beach was only about five minutes away from our cottage and it was really beautiful! Few people, sandy beach, and crystal clear water. We quickly cooled off in the lovely water. We were goofing around a bit and suddenly it turned into a huge sand/mud fight. Up until that point, it was really fun.... But then we noticed that Kevin's ring was missing! We searched the water for ages, borrowed diving goggles, and even got help from some of the other beachgoers! We dug up half the ocean... in vain...

The funny thing was that the water had sulfur in it and silver jewelry turned bronze-like. Feeling down, after a few hours we realized that it was hopeless...

We turned back around 5pm and cooked something at our place.

Oh yeah, we had another stroke of luck today! We had put a 100 euro note in our pocket for the market... Stupidly, we left it inside - all day long. And in the evening, it was gone too! Probably lost it at the beach... Yeah, today was really great!

We spent the rest of the evening on our terrace, enjoying the end of the day.
