Welcome home to us

Delicious breakfast and morning swim. We played a game of 'one, two, three, time to swim', dad cheated by walking on the bottom and Lawa swam underwater. But there were plenty of good laughs anyway. Then we finished packing and headed down to wait for the transfer bus with our favorites Appeltravel.

Towards our 'home' for the rest of the vacation!

Foffo has been looking forward to explore Thailand too, he was with us last time. One of the few stuffed animals that has traveled around the world and is still going strong.

After a nice ride, we finally stepped into our house. Lawa changed clothes as fast as lightning and jumped into the pool.

Since we are currently completely broke, we couldn't pay our deposit, but no worries. The kind lady said we'd sort it out later.

It was even more urgent to pick up the ordered cake, but still broke and their card reader was out of function. Not a good sign! But then we received the cutest message saying to pick up the cake and that we'll pay another time, the most important thing is that Lawa gets her cake on her birthday ❤️ Love! An Oreo cake and they also sent 8 cake candles. It's enough to make you teary-eyed.

Two hours after arrival, everything was unpacked and the first change opened. We have a nice routine after the 15 hotels in the USA on our round-the-world trip. In and out, as fast as lightning.

We took a walk down memory lane. Past the shower where we scrubbed her from sand so many times, all the way up to her bottom when she took off her diaper. Past our beloved cork oak. Missed you there Rebecca ❤️. We had dinner at a favorite restaurant, black coral. At the entrance, we were greeted by the woman who had so many times chased Lawa up and down the stairs at the restaurant. We showed her a video of this and she laughed heartily. We also bumped into the owner and booked a New Year's dinner with them.

We took a stroll along the main road home and it really feels like it's low season, which is so lovely. The calm before the storm. We bought new beer holders, as for some strange reason, ours gave up for us at home just before we left. It also became an extra birthday present for Lawa.

Once home, we had a night swim and then air-dried on the terrace while enjoying the evening.
