We are ready
4/1 We slept like logs last night, I think we all managed about 10-11 hours. We took a walk to Inas for breakfast, but she was closed today. Still, it was a walk nonetheless,...

Today we went to Inas again, and they were open; it was a fond farewell after a delicious breakfast.
We said goodbye to our neighbors, and a friend's mother came to pick up the last items we were leaving behind.
We stopped by the school to drop off some items, both for the school and for Children of The Forest, a sister school with children living in impoverished conditions, who each year get to meet Sanuk and receive clothes and toys left by holidaymakers.
After breakfast, Lawa and I hurried to get one last pedicure. Time was tight, so I skipped the nail polish, but of course, one should go home with fresh feet. Lawa had both her hands and feet painted.
We managed to take a quick swim and get ourselves ready before it was time to go.
As there were long queues for the ferry, we arranged for a car to drop us off on the Koh Lanta side, and we went over without the car, where we jumped into the next vehicle. This probably saved us 1-2 hours in traffic.
We arrived at the airport in good time, as usual nervous about the baggage weights. But we managed just fine again this time.
A bit delayed in Bangkok, but what a wonderful feeling to get a bit of adrenaline back. There were so many people trying to get taxis, but we called a Grab that directed us to level 3, and then it went super smoothly.
Lawa was absolutely ecstatic when we arrived at the hotel and thought it was the fanciest place she had ever been. (Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, highly recommended!)
We were all gasping when we went out to the pool to look out over Bangkok. One from the 22nd floor and one from the 37th floor.
We had a beer at the restaurant on the 37th floor but then went out onto the street and found a small food market right outside. We had chicken skewers and slow-cooked pork and enjoyed a Chang. (The hotel only had Singha)
A little later than usual, we went to bed but enjoyed the large bed and fell asleep quickly.
