New year and new opportunities!

Started off a bit slow, but in good spirits. We went to Backyard for a nice breakfast and it was completely packed; we managed to get the last table.

Afterward, we relaxed by the pool for quite a while and did pretty much nothing.

In the evening, we headed to the mini-golf course that Rebecka has and played a round with her. Really fun and unusual courses. Samuel has trained a hen to eat from hand, so we got to pet it too, although the poor thing mostly thought we were a distraction from its Saturday treat time.

We tried to get it to jump over to Lawa's hands, but Lawa has much smaller hands, so it wasn't interested at all and just waddled away instead.

By the way, there's also an adorable dog living there and a pitch-black cat that is really cuddly.

Rebecka came home with us to have some leftovers from the New Year's dinner and we sat and chatted for a while.

But then we decided on an early night since we were all a bit sleep deprived from the day before.
