The day started with Lawa's Thai boxing training. Not many were there today, so she got a lot of focus and learned some combinations. One of the trainers made all the parents join in on the kick training as well, with some stretched groins and a fair bit of panting involved.
We went to Livingroom for a little breakfast and jumped in the pool when we got home again.
Mulle took a walk on the beach while I and Lawa went down to enjoy the unusually high waves.
Dad joined after the walk.
I don't know what it was about the sea today, but it felt especially nice to swim, and none of us really wanted to get out.
Lawa also received the last jibbitz for her new shoes in the mail. The biggest shoe trend in Thailand 🩴🩴
The afternoon was spent lazily, and we decided to go eat at Walking Street. But since I developed agoraphobia the past few weeks with the arrival of 'tourists', the visit was short-lived. But we got our chicken kebab that we had been craving for. It's fresh and comes with lots of vegetables. Otherwise, it's mostly fried food dripping with sauces.
A quick stop at Lanta Mart as well to stock up on some beer for New Year's Eve.
And after a nice TV evening, tomorrow we will get up earlier and head out for a little adventure again.
A correction as well; I apparently wrote that we saw a big moray eel the other day. However, my wise husband pointed out that morays can get very big and that we saw a small one compared to how large they can be. Maybe it was the cyclops that made it seem bigger to me... 😀
