Rainy day

We all had a bit of a sleep-in morning and then finally some breakfast at home. Fruits and eggs with yolks yellower than the Easter chicken. And Swedish coffee❤️🤣

Today the hunt for Halloween clothes for Lawa began. All DIY and all other places we had looked were gone. Then mom got to bring out her creative thinking and see if she could create something of her own.

When we got home today, our nice neighbors had hung some fruit and mint on the front door. Lawa countered with candy, Oreo cookies, and a nice drawing that was much appreciated!

Unfortunately, Lawa tends to get a lot of mosquito bites, so now we're on to the third tip with coconut oil. And a nice anti-dandruff cream from the pharmacy. In addition to all the other mosquito-killing paraphernalia around the house.

The pool was finally ready for swimming in the afternoon but we quickly realized what the problem was. The joints dissolve in the water when you drag your finger, so they are probably what makes the water cloudy. Thai quality!

We swam and splashed around for a while anyway and then our first monsoon rain came. It was pouring out of all the gutters and the rain was pouring down. So nice to sit on the terrace under the roof and enjoy. However, the temperature dropped drastically to 26 degrees.

We were going to go to another favorite restaurant, but because of the rain, we went to the resort's restaurant instead of going that far.

I'm constantly impressed by our girl who has given herself over to eating Thai food, today shrimp and squid stew with curry. Spicy!

After dinner we took a walk on the beach and saw several crabs and some hermit crabs. We lost Lawa's stuffed animal so we had to go an extra mile in the dark to look for it. But as we learned last time, we always have flashlights with us, so it worked out well.

Once home, it was bed time for me, but the other two aren't as keen on turning the clock around, and are above all still addicted to TV, so we'll see if they can get up tomorrow morning when we're going out on a little adventure.
