The Priest

The sun woke us up with its warm rays, and all the parents suddenly had a smile on their faces when they dropped off the kids this morning.

Today there was a big gathering followed by a coffee time for parents. The priest and his wife were visiting and talked about their work. The priest's brother, who plays in a heavy metal band, played some songs that the children got to sing along to. He also mentioned that he was from Örby and joked that no poor soul knew where it was, but I raised my hand and said that I had indeed been to this little village. 😀 # borås

We had a long lovely walk on the beach, soaking up the sun.

We have done some chores around the house and fixed a new drying rack. Suddenly, the lizard from yesterday wandered past us, and we happily welcomed him. Until we saw what he left by the pool's edge. A droppings that would make a Thai image envious. Since Mulle cannot handle poop, I quickly went to pick it up. However, I had four bags in my hands because I could only imagine what a bacterial hotspot this was, full of parasites. He is no longer welcome at our home!

All the kids were wearing their new tie-dye shirts when we picked them up, and Lawa had made a really nice one for herself.

We had a snack in the form of saffransbullar (saffron buns) and took a dip in the warmth.

In the afternoon, we went for a swim in the sea and caught some nice waves to surf on.

Then we headed to Sai Naam where it was Swedish night with the priest and people from the embassy.

Classmates were also present, as there was some playing for Lawa.

I, Mulle, and a mother from school shared a bottle of red wine, and it felt like velvet in the throat after all the Chang. Well chilled!

The priest expressed great interest in my workplace since he was a big snuff user. He even had biblical support for using snuff:

The Lord's praise shall constantly be in my mouth!

Don't ask me which verse and chapter though...

But the big topic of conversation for the evening was who had given the boys at Rainbow Muay Thai brand new t-shirts from LO and the Social Democrats. Not to mention the cap that says
